Solidere is destroying the spirit of Beirut. There is no central Beirut anymore it’s called Solidere.

And what did you expect when you have a government that does not care about the country or its citizens.
What did you expect when you have leaders that do not care about the heritage of their country and city?
What did you expect when you have leaders that are more interested in their religious background than their homeland?

During the Israeli invasion in 1982 the Israelis bombed their area to force them to leave Lebanon. The Lebanese jews are attached to Lebanon and not to Israel.

I hope someone stops Solidere from doing this,it's more important to keep your own citizens happy and proud of their culture,than anything else !!

I 201% agree with you, It has always been the case where the lebanese loyalty goes to these religious sites before our country and land. Thats our plague.

Who cares? Will this make me hate the jews? If the Druze also sided against the LA army on October 13, will this make me sanction the destruction of beautiful druze architecture we find in villages in the moutains?

We are pointing out the fact that architectural heritage, regardless of who used to live there, is being destroyed to build disgusting Arguileh restaurents where Arabs can have a coffee.

J-FPM please dont put words in my mouth, my whole point is that why make a big FUSS about a jewish site when thousands of sites have been destroyed, not to mention Dahyeh during 2006 that was erased from the map by our Israel neighbours. Did Haruun our jewish friend hightlighted or disclosed that topic during the event? NO

Every tinny particle in the lebanese soil means to me and I wished our people would consider themselves Lebanse nationals before claiming their religious affiliation, which was not the case with Harruns in this topic because he highlighted the fact its a Jewish site.
