mat ekhizna ya m3allim, but half the Ba'ath is full of spies and ready to sell out the regime because they know their time is coming and they'd rather switch sides like half of Saddam's men did, e.g. Khaddam. They're working against Bashar and doing their best to get him blamed for everything that's happening in Lebanon. I have little doubt Syrians played a role in some of the assassinations in Lebanon, but those Syrians are the ones not working for the Assads.

I hope it will be very far from the 14th feb demonstration.
I hope we will soon hear SH and HN calling their supporters to avoid every clash and to pay respect to the memory of Moghniyeh and Hariri.
Its going to be in Mujama3 Sayed Al Shuhada in Dahiye. Far enough.

He was the main link between Lebanon, Syria and Iran. A chunk of that chain is gone. But there's always, and will always be alternatives.

This demonstrates a huge hole in intelligence. There's going to be a lot of self reflection and internal behind the scenes talking.

A guy of this caliber is usually killed on the hands of his closest friends/allies or his most sworn enemies. If they don't already, I beleive HA will know for sure and in due time who killed the man. If the americans/israelis, then they already know the why. If the syrians, then it's a more serious message to HA and in that case we may not know what's behind such message for now, but will soon, very soon.

My own wild guess: A lot of millions of $$$$ were paid to elements within the syrian intelligence forces to execute the operation without the approval of Bashar. Money allways rule and have the ability to facilitate the penetration of almost every tightly sealed system by foreign powers, including the North Korean.

The question is not how Syria will respond, but rather how Hizballah will respond.

They'll probably help Hamas assasinate an Israeli politician or something along those lines. Hamas has lots of sleeper cells in Israel waiting for such an action.

No he's not, but he's not God to know who are the traitors around him. If he knew, how'd Khaddam get away?

It annoys the hell out of me that he is disrespecting the dead. Which one of us spoke that way when Pierre Gmayel died? Or any of the other person? How long am I going to put up with this ****? We have a boundary and that is our martyrs.

He is an uncivilised idiot nothing more.
