No, those are not internal matters. According to your way of thinking, there shouldn't be organizations like Amnesty International and so, because definitely they will be meddling in those countries' internal affairs!
I never saw your contribution in the Palestinian-israeli conflict thread in this very own section of the forums, nor saw you open a thread defending the Dalai Lama.
It seems you're too focused on the IRI,
anyway please go ahead and keep us updated,
If you could post some articles from Arutz Sheva, Gamla or Yedioth Ahronoth, it would be great.

So your argument is based on: "I never saw your contribution" and that's a very poor argument, couldn't be that I usually post in another forum? and I was active posting about Tibet when the Chinese government oppressed them before the Olympic games?! Or posting a very interesting and detailed article from Haaretz about Avigdor Lieberman and his danger if he gets more power?!. So, if I didn't post those in this forum, and you didn't see me posting them, that means I only focus on Iran, according to your argument!

Now, if you're active about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since you care for human rights, how about you post in this thread too and keep us updated, instead of criticizing me?! Plus, what did I do that provoked you? Why does posting about the Iranian crisis provoke you? Do you want us to stay silent while people are terrorized there?!

Call for Iran protesters' release

Former Iranian President Ali Akbar Rafsanjani has called for the release of people jailed after protesting at the result of the recent election.

In his first Friday sermon since the vote, he also said large numbers of Iranians still doubted its result.

Outside, police fired tear gas at thousands of opposition supporters who were chanting slogans in support of defeated candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi.

Chanting also broke out among some of the tens of thousands of people inside.

Thousands of opposition supporters rallied in streets near the university - the first public opposition demonstration for more than a week.

Many were wearing green bands on their heads or wrists to indicate support for Mr Mousavi, and some could be heard chanting "death to the dictator" and "Allahu Akbar" [God is great].

My dear father; tonight is the birthday of most noble and most chaste of the fathers. But I am wondering what uncommitted sin has banned me from your kind embrace and warm kisses? Hope that the caring hand of Imam Ali presents my unlimited love to your lonely hands.

Dr. Marsousi, wife of Dr. Saeed Hajarian
Dear Saeed; we have forgotten your stammering owing to your constancy of belief and shuddering of your hand because of your permanence of notion. They were able to target your voice and hand with hatred and revulsion but your idea and your conviction will always be green. Today is the birthday of the king of compassion and justice. They have imprisoned your ailing body but know that your green idea will always remain in our hearts.

Leili-Saddat Jalalzadeh, wife of Javad Imam
The birthday of Imam Ali is not only the father’s day but also the day to celebrate courage, humanity, generosity, peace, compassion and truth, and these are the treasures that not everyone can attain. These days you were not only courageous but also taught bravery, resilience and humanity to everyone. Congratulations to you on this day!

Maryam Baghi, wife of Mohammad Ghochani
My darling, Mohammad; on this blessed day I entrust you to the “born of Kaaba” who portrayed justice and fairness with the heart broken from the injustice that he endured. God of Ali, God of you, is the ultimate judge. I congratulate this day to you and I swear to your God that the ultimate champion is none but the truth. To this day no corporeal power has been able to alter belief and faith with chain and prison so you that have faith in father of Shias, Imam Ali, are free even in prison. Congratulations to you and your fellow imprisoned comrades for the birth of the king of all noble men in the universe.

Wife and children of Kambiz Nourozi
In the appreciation of your imprisoned pen and of your hand that made heroism and courage the memory of these days. Stars be upon your day!

Dear Dad; we are spending father’s day in your absence and enduring what is happening these days. We are waiting for your freedom. We are waiting for the freedom. Be prosperous and courageous!

Sajaad, son of Sadegh Nourozi
My dear father; I wish you were with me in such a day. Be determined and courageous!

Mother of Somayeh Tohidlo
Dear God, put the “knowledge of Ali” ahead of the “love for Ali”. Best wishes for the birth of the icon of justice and bravery to all his true followers.

Quote:

Hosein-Ali Montazeri

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grand Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri (Persian: حسینعلی منتظری), styled His Honourable Eminence, (born in 1922), is an Iranian scholar, theologian, writer and human rights activist. He was one of the leaders of the Iranian Revolution in 1979. He is best known as the one-time designated successor to the revolution's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini who fell out with Khomeini in 1989 over government policies that Montazeri claimed infringed on freedom and denied people's rights. Montazeri currently lives in the holy city of Qom, and remains politically influential in Iran, especially upon reformist politics.[1] He is a senior Islamic scholar and a Grand Marja (religious authority) of Islam.

For almost three decades, Hossein Ali Montazeri has been one of the main critics of Islamic Republic's domestic and foreign policy. He has also been an active advocate of civil rights and women's rights in Iran. Montazeri is a prolific writer and has authored a number of books and articles.

Khatami urges referendum on poll

The former President of Iran, Mohammad Khatami, has called for a referendum on the legitimacy of the government, following June's disputed elections.

Mr Khatami, quoted on Iranian websites, said millions of Iranians had lost faith in the electoral process.

The Iranian opposition, including Mr Khatami and the defeated presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi, say the election was rigged.

Arrests at new Iranian protests

Iranian riot police are reported to have arrested a number of pro-reform protesters in Tehran after demonstrations turned violent.

Police clashed with hundreds of people marching despite a ban on public gatherings since the disputed election in June, Reuters news agency said.

The re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sparked widespread protests and allegations of vote-rigging.

Defeated candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi has continued to contest the result.

Mr Mousavi has issued statements opposing the election result, saying detention of protesters would not end opposition.

Power protest

Witnesses said hundreds or even thousands of people took to the streets of Tehran on Tuesday afternoon, although curbs on the international media mean it is difficult to verify reports from Iran independently.

Large numbers of riot police were deployed to meet them, and militia men in civilian clothes also mingled with the crowd, the BBC's Jon Leyne reports.

In a new form of protest, activists were urged to turn off lights and domestic appliances at 2055 (1625 GMT).

Five minutes later, at 2100, they planned to switch on appliances that consume large amounts of electricity, such as irons, toasters and microwave ovens.

Activist leaders hoped the resulting surge in demand could cause a power outage and cloak Tehran in darkness, allowing some the chance to protest on the streets.

The power protest is the latest in a series of efforts to continue demonstrating without breaking the law or risking arrest.

Following a government clampdown on protests shortly after the disputed election, many in Tehran took to their roofs after dark to shout Allahu Akbar (God is Great) in solidarity with the opposition.

Referendum call

The renewed street protests come shortly after Mr Mousavi issued one of his strongest critiques of Iran's ruling elite since the election result was declared.

He said it was an insult to the nation to suggest that opposition members were only protesting because they were told to by foreign powers.

And he insisted that intimidation and threats would not silence his supporters.

Since the announcement that Mr Ahmadinejad had won June's presidential election, Mr Mousavi - a reformist former prime minister of Iran - has received backing from several senior figures within the Iranian establishment.

Among them are two former presidents, Hashemi Rafsanjani and Mohammad Khatami.

On Monday Mr Khatami called for a referendum on the legitimacy of the government. Only the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, can organise a referendum, and he has already declared the election result valid.

Mr Khatami, quoted on Iranian websites, said millions of Iranians had lost faith in the electoral process.

But Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard, which answers to the Supreme Leader, has described the election as a turning point. The head of the Guards' political bureau said the election allowed the Guards to take power into their own hands.

Our correspondent says many Iranians will see the Revolutionary Guards' confidence as confirming their own fears that the outcome of the election was just a thinly-veiled military coup.

This was never in contention by the white house or any other colored house. The problem was about how the Iranian authorities were treating the demonstrators in the street, from hitting them to shooting at them to mass imprisoning them.
