What i will say now might sound odd, but believe it or not, armenians wants turkey to be democratic and to advance, armenians wants from turkey to be modern, to even enter EU, and do u know why? Because we will deal with a modern country when we come to talk about our cause. we will talk and deal with a democratic country, a country that knows what human right is, a country that gives freedom to media, freedom of speech, and after this modernization, we will know we can talk with our neighbor, a modern neighbor, and after this happens recognizing the genocide will be easier.

WE NEVER TALKED ABOUT RELGION WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE GENOCIDE, armenians never said it was christian-islam issue, and whoever sais that doesn't know anything about history. And please do not generalize, 90% of my friends are muslims, and we have d best relation with muslims, and muslims parties.

Instead of appreciating what we did, and what we're doing, instead of seeing it as an heroic act, being 100% lebanese and not forgetting our origin, you accuse us of being less lebanese than others.

Let's end this here, no one is more Lebanese than another lebanese.

Lebanese Kid born in Brazil, can u tell him "you are not Brazilian"? also can u tell him, " forget lebanon? WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT LEBANESE ALL AROUND THE WORLD SHOUD HELP US, so should all the countries get annoyed because the are helping lebanon?

We became good lebanese citizens, and didnt forget our past and origin and language. You have no idea how difficult that is. I think we should be appreciated
Thank you

Ok,

Everyone, anything related outside the topic of Turkey, Turkish relations in the international scene and political problems dealing with Turkey and the EU will be removed from this thread.

The Armenian genocide is a key element in this topic and its sensitivity regarding Turkey and the European Union.

Thank you

Hye.

thanks,

i already provided the reasons !
europeans ( as population ) dont want them in it.
they are not related to europeans by history
historically they fought against europeans most of the time and committed massacres against many of them. serbs , russians , greeks, armenians .
they will be a parasit , an intruder country on the european body .

To the Lebanese who are Armenians on this thread . I only want to tell you I said Lebanese because I know your love for LEbanon is truly a love for a nation .Yet allow me to say that this Lebanese wherever he is in the world is always supporting your cause and saying that Turkey committed a Genocide against you . IF anyone doubts that please watch the movie called " "Mayrig" or 511 Avenue Rue De Paradis or Erarat.

The denoucement of the Genocide by the Turks should not take a turn to "religion" . Any human being who is for human rights should say there was a genocide. Turkey should apologize. If it does not do so to the Cypriots and the Armenians as well as the Kurds then it should never be considered part of the European community.

For that matter I did not want the Turks to step foot on my Lebanese soil.

To all Armenians know that the FPM will always support you as we beleive in justice an equality and the rights of people.

As for Jouzou's comments please the guy is a nut case. I mean how can he compare the Palestinians who started the war in Lebanon with the peaceful Armenians who had nothing to do with our war. Did you see any person in Lebanon killing on behalf of Armenia some Turks. I have seen plenty of Palestinians kill Lebanese. The camps of the Palestinians should be compltey disarmed immediately. Palestinians should go back to West Bank and Gaza. The Armenians ahve no weapons and are not in camps. They are working members of the Lebanese population and they are full citizens. Thank God for that. Once again I'm not Armenian. I wish the Palestinians of Lebanon did 1 / 1000 of what the Armenians did to ELbanon maybe more Lebanese would support them. I only support them in West Bank and Gaza. I have no heart for them in LEbanon.
