Yes,I know, but hopefully them supporting the israelis might have a bad impact on their popularity. This might not be true with LF supporters but the sunnis of lebanon by history have always been anti-israeli and the new boy in the square Saad won't change that. After thinking carefully, I don't see it in Assad's nature to start a war with the israelis. He is too coward for that in my eyes. We were getting carried away.

And also in history those sunnis were pro-syrians!! And now as we're seeing they're anti-syrians.. It's all intersests matters!! In July's war per example,Saad was against Hezbolla,enno,all the goverment was also..

It'll be dragged into the conflict. I don't see how HA could justify not assisting Syria in this situation, or how anyone else in Lebanon could stop HA.

I'm more inclined to think Israel would want to drag HA into the conflict. I don't think HA would jump in otherwise.

I guess it depends on the context. If Syria attacks Israel, then it would be harmful for Israeli retaliation if there was another front in Lebanon... Lebanon would suck up resources that could be used in Syria. But I agree with you that it's not in Israel's interests to fight Syria in the first place, they'd much rather clash with HA if given the choice.
