<o:p> </o:p>
<st1:country-region w:st="on">Syria</st1:country-region> consolidated the corruption in <st1:country-region w:st="on">Lebanon</st1:country-region> by consolidating the power of it’s puppets in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Beirut</st1:place></st1:city>. The Baath party is a disease in the <st1:place w:st="on">Middle East</st1:place> and the sooner it’s exterminated the sooner the Lebanese can live in peace. I will always side with the decisions of the Syrian people; however, in the absence of any democracy these people have no voice in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Syria</st1:country-region></st1:place>.
<o:p> </o:p>
There will never be peace with <st1:country-region w:st="on">Syria</st1:country-region> until three points are met, and this is directed particularly towards my Lebanese brothers who have this affection towards <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Syria</st1:country-region></st1:place>:
<o:p> </o:p>
  • Free our prisoners
  • Demarcate our borders including Shebba
  • Exchange of embassies
<o:p> </o:p>
When those points are met then I will consider <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Syria</st1:place></st1:country-region> a friend.

yes, u fought for ur freedom...

but mind u.... u didnt kick syria out... if it wasnt the international pressures, we wouldnt have retrieved the army....

GMA was leading a peaceful resistance to the syrian presence, but he didnt really succeed... it was an international plot that made syria pull its troops out...

It doesn't matter who did it. As long as the end result was getting rid of the syrians soldiers.

Still, don't give up your hopes. There is a chance to come back in the future given the widespread support your regime enjoys in Lebanon.

The subject here is not the syrian withdrawal, it is about the regime in Syria. personally I am against doing anything in order to change the regime there, it is not our business to interfere in Syrian politics.
but I have a question for you, honestly, do you feel sorry that Syria left Lebanon?

The issue is not to overthrow.
The issue is who will replace the current regime?
A la Iraq? Egypt? KSA? Taliban?
This is why I do not care!

Easy come, easy go. Today bought, tomorrow sold. What's wrong can't be right. What goes up must come down. Wa tajri l riya7o bima la tashtahi l soufounou. If it hadn't been for this, it would have been for that..
An international plot brought you in, another one kicked you out..
What's the difference? Sooner or later, being much detested by nearly everyone, including the shia although they had to use you as you them, there was only one exit for you: Out.

Why do we care so much about the Syrian regime? for me, as long as Syria is not in Lebanon, I really don't care...let the syrian people decide..

That is up to the Syrian people. This would cost them a lot of blood though.
