Haruun,
This is rather asking: Do you prefere to be hit by the HIV or the birdflue virus?
Until i get immunized against any one of those perilous options, i feel that none of them is my safiest choice. Both have the potentials to infect and destroy vital organs in my lebanese body.

Most recently, Walid Jumblatt hosted the Muslim Brotherhood in Mukhtara and is outspoken with regards to the Syrian regime, he is openly calling for the US to remove the regime Iraqi-style.
|
Walid Jumblat on the other hand, has chosen another approach to this medical dilemma. While he apparently thinks that evil is best fought by another evil, and since there is no known cure against the curse of the baathis HIV casted upon him, he has decided to put all his remaining hopes in a sunni fundamentalist prescription for fast future recovery..

As a Lebanese I am not comfortable with someone from my country openly calling for the overthrow of a foreign government. This has nothing to do with the Baathists and I am not neglecting their crimes in Lebanon but I am questioning whether or not this is the right thing to do. I consider the Baath party an equivalent to Zionism, no difference. However, at the very least we can’t forget about Walid Jumblatt’s history with the Syrians and suddenly he’s against them but this is about us as Lebanese, all of us: should we be okay with people calling for the overthrow of Syria’s government? Will your stance be helpful to Lebanon? Why or why not?

This is a vendetta, between lords of feudal houses and a neighboring maffia branch. There are no statesmen involved here and all tricks and means are allowed, including sending desperate SOS to the skies, the americans, the muslim brotherhooders or the desert Jinn..
While wishing themselves the best, our lords also know that any outcome of this blood feud which does not enforce their lebanese political state, will most probably weaken it, thereof the desperation and the dangers we might face.
