WASHINGTON - The academic dean of Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, currently facing a storm of criticism for a paper he co-authored about an "Israel lobby," will step down at the end of June, according to the School's administrators and faculty.
The academic dean, Stephen Walt, is scheduled to vacate his administrative position on June 30, the dean of the school, David Ellwood, told The New York Sun. Mr. Walt will remain at the Kennedy School as a professor.

I could hardly find this story in other media outlets!

Thank you for the sources. I find it a little overblown the way Al-Arabiya treated the news from the Sun that, it seems, purposely linked the paper about the Jewish Lobby with him stepping down in June. Dean positions are usually rotated among faculty members and I don't find anything suspicious in Prof. Walt stepping down. He's still listed on Harvard's website and will remain a professor at the University.

Personally I would not go too far in interpreting that piece of news. However, the school's administration may have decided to let people know that his contract is over to cool down the criticism.

Free patriot, be ashured that his stepdown happened because and only because of his criticism of American Israeli relation!!!
You can't imagine what a few big donors & thousand of letters & media bashing are capable of doing to a person!
