Has anyone here watched the National Geographic Chanel special on PBS and its affiliates (for those of you now living in the states as myslef)?

I loved how it ended concluding that all the Lebanese of today are united in their ancestry and that they are genetically ONE people, be it Muslim or Christian.

I read part of the article (not all of it) in National Geographic. I did not get a chance to watch it on PBS though. Many people told me that they did. Quite interesting, I heard. I am sure we'll get a chance to watch it again.

The program is going to be on in America on the east coast at eight o' clock Tuesday 10/26/04 on PBS.

I actually received an email from National Geographic on the matter.

I was told that tests are being undertaken in Lebanon, North Africa, Malta and Southern Spain to determine the extent of the Phoenician trade empire.

She also told me that it will take several years for there to be any results.
