prosecuting anyone who brings manar into new york because "Hezbollah can perform operations through its tv station" is like closing the door and leaving the windows open, does the american government prosecute each one in new york that wishes to access hezbollah's website or watch manar online for example? the guy just provided the service for whoever wishes to watch it just like whoever wishes to go on the internet and check hezbollah's web influences, should they also prosecute ISP's for not blocking hezbollah's website in new york ?
i restate my question IS THIS TANA2OD OF US DEMOCRATY AND RIGHTS? |
No it's not.
The US and Hizballah are enemies of each other. There is no democracy to be upheld in this case. Each considers the other's existence a menace to their own well being, and that includes the other side's media. I'm not exactly sure, but I doubt I'll ever see the day during this conflict when Fox News billboards are displayed in Dahiye. It doesn't mean HA is undemocratic.
