Default Khamenei: Dead or Alive? - 15th October 2009

The World suddenly seems to be abuzz with rumors of Ayatollah Khamenei’s death. There seems to be numerous claims of ‘confirmations’ from so called ‘authentic’ sources about a collapse of the aforementioned, following which he is reportedly in the ‘hands of the Gods.’

Ayatollah Khamenei, one of the most noted politicians of the day is one of the most prominent figures of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. A noted scholar, he is fluent in both Parsi and Arabic and is a cleric. He is the figurehead of the Iranian Conservative Establishment. In 2009 an anonymous body of reformist lawmakers challenged the Assembly of Experts regarding the election of Khamenei. Soon, there began a discreet revolution against the country’s most powerful man, which soon developed into an open challenging of the leader’s position. Ever since, Khamenei’s health had been deteriorating due to a possible nervous prostration.

Sources have reported from allegedly authoritative contacts that on the 13th October Khamenei collapsed and was taken to a special clinic. Since then, no confirmed news has been available. His present status remains a secret, but according to sources, his condition is critical. Many of the insiders are reportedly relieved at the news, as the leader’s condition was steadily worsening. Though it has not yet been assumed for sure that he is dead, it is being safely assumed by many that he is in a coma at least. Many are under the impression that it is merely another false rumor, or Khamenei’s move to establish his son as his successor. The Iranian Embassy has denied any truth in the matter. Meanwhile, conditions in Iran grow more tense.

100 % the news is a rumor. I had a phone call early today at 8 am telling me that he died. After verifying news websites and calling some friends, it looks like the news is false.

Well la samaha allah if he died they will announce its not like it will be the first time someone in that position dies.

But for sure it wont be like uae when sheikh zaid died, they made him coma then woke up change some ministers and then died again.

They kept preaching about the changes made by shiekh zaid in the last minute specialy with puting a lady as minister.

arabic regimes lol
