Iran is not a real democracy so you might not get a clear picture just by through voting.

As for Bush, he is not equal to USA or the US democracy, and who said it is the biggest democracy? It is just one of the democratic countries

But Trust me the Iranians inside Iran are different than those whom you might meet outside it in Dubai or US or Europe, Nijad's aim wasn't the people of tehran he gets most of his votes from the other areas.

Yes, because these US armed regimes will just give up the billions of barrels of oil they sit on if people ask nicely?

When you fight these regimes, you are fighting the full might of the United States and the rest of the West. It is in the West's interest that these dictators stay in power. The only way to win control is through violence, like Hamas did to Fatah in Gaza.

يدعو الموقف الحقيقي لواشنطن، تجاه ما يجري في إيران، إلى إحداث تغيير سياسي جوهري على صعيد السلطة الحاكمة في طهران، سواء عن طريق ما كان يدعى في عهد الرئيس الأميركي السابق جورج بوش «تغيير النظام» أو «تغيير النظام الإيراني لسلوكه»، لينسجم مع سياسة الولايات المتحدة واستراتيجيتها في المنطقة، وهو ما تسعى إليه إدارة الرئيس باراك أوباما. لكنّ المتحدث باسم البيت الأبيض، روبرت غيبس، يرى أن الاحتجاجات الشعبية تمثّل بدايات التغيير.
وتشير تقارير إلى أن ما قام به المحتجّون الشباب من ذوي الميول الليبرالية في طهران ومدن إيرانية كبرى أخرى، كان في إطار ما تخطط له وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأميركية (سي آي إيه)، التي استغلّت تظاهرات أنصار المرشح الإصلاحي الخاسر مير حسين موسوي للعمل إما على إيجاد نظام ألعوبة مؤيّد للولايات المتحدة، وإما شنّ هجوم عسكري بدعوى أن نظام حكم الرئيس محمود أحمدي نجاد غير شرعي ويستند إلى أقلية ويقمع الحركة المطالبة بالديموقراطية.
ويرى معلّقون أميركيون أن التدخل الأميركي وحملة التضليل الإعلامي التي تبثّها وتنشرها وسائل الإعلام العربية، هما من الوضوح إلى الحد الذي يستحيل معه تصديق تصريحات المسؤولين الأميركيين والغربيين عن عدم التدخل.
ويشير مساعد وزير المال الأميركي في عهد رونالد ريغان، بول غريغ روبرتس، إلى أن موسوي أعلن نفسه قبل إغلاق مراكز الاقتراع فائزاً في الانتخابات الرئاسية، استناداً إلى «كل المؤشرات المقبلة من كل أنحاء إيران»، فيما تجاهلت وسائل الإعلام الغربية قرار السلطات الإيرانية تمديد فترة الاقتراع لساعات أخرى، لتعلن فوز نجاد بعد دقائق قليلة من إغلاق أبواب مراكز الاقتراع.
ويقول روبرتس إن ادّعاء موسوي المسبق بالفوز قبل إغلاق مراكز الاقتراع، وحتى قبل بدء فرز الأصوات، كان «ضربة استباقية» واضحة تهدف إلى استبعاد أي نتائج آتية. ويتابع «إذا كان رجال الدين الإيرانيون قد أكدوا فوز محمد خاتمي مرتين، فإنهم لن يترددوا في إعلان فوز موسوي الذي ينتمي إلى المؤسسة الإيرانية، لو كان حصل بالفعل على النسبة المطلوبة للفوز»، متسائلاً «لماذا لا يمكن تصديق هزيمة موسوي أمام نجاد، الذي كان قد هزم (الرئيس السابق هاشمي) رفسنجاني في انتخابات الرئاسة في عام 2005».
ويكشف روبرتس «إننا نعلم أن الولايات المتحدة تموّل منظمات إرهابية داخل إيران مسؤولة عن التفجيرات وأعمال العنف الأخرى. ومن المرجح أن تكون تلك المنظمات هي المسؤولة عن حرق الحافلات وأعمال العنف الأخرى التي وقعت خلال التظاهرات في طهران».
ويشير روبرتس إلى أن انتشار تقنية «تويتر» الإلكترونية في إرسال الأخبار وبثّها، جرى إيجادها غداة يوم الانتخابات، فيما لوحظ أن صحيفة «جيروزاليم بوست» قد نشرت في 14 حزيران مقالاً عن «تويتر» الجديد الخاص بإيران. ويتساءل «لماذا لم تتحرك مثل هذه التظاهرات الشبابية في مواقع أخرى من العالم التي شهدت تزويراً في الانتخابات؟ وحتى إن وجدت، فلم تلق مثل هذا الدعم الأميركي الغربي الذي يقدم لهؤلاء في إيران». كما يتساءل عن دوافع موسوي في تعزيز التظاهرات، التي تستخدم من قبل الغرب المعادي لنظام حكم كان قد أطاح نظام الشاه الذي كان ألعوبة بيد الولايات المتحدة.
ويقول روبرتس إن موسوي تستخدمه منظمات مموّلة من الولايات المتحدة، مشيراً إلى أن واحداً من أبرز رموز المحافظين الجدد المعادين لإيران وهو جون بولتون، المندوب الأميركي السابق لدى الأمم المتحدة، أوضح الاستراتيجية الأميركية بشأن إيران بقوله «أولاً نحاول زعزعة استقرار إيران، وفي حال الفشل نقوم بقصفهم عسكرياً».
بدوره، كينيث تميرمان، الذي يعتبر نفسه خبيراً في الشؤون الإيرانية، كشف وجود تخطيط لـ«ثورة برتقالية» في إيران على غرار ما حدث في أوكرانيا وغيرها، حيث كتب قبيل الانتخابات الإيرانية أن «هناك حديثاً عن ثورة خضراء»، وأن هناك تنظيماً مسبقاً لتظاهرات قبيل الانتخابات، وإعلان النتائج، وأن تلك التظاهرات كانت معدّة سلفاً للادّعاء أنها تجري احتجاجاً على سرقة الانتخابات لمصلحة نجاد.
ويقول تميرمان إن الوقفية القومية لنشر الديموقراطية (نيد)، التابعة للحكومة الأميركية، والتي تعمل على نشر الديموقراطية في إيران، موّلت منظمات غير حكومية خارج إيران ترتبط بعلاقات قوية مع مجموعات موسوي.

I'd really like to know the real story about what's happening in Iran without the BS of the media.
