That is guaranteed by law. Moussavi has not yet submitted any complaint though, because he has no documents to submit, and this is why he is resorting to unleashing his thugs on the streets.
You are so ridiculous as to think that this is the end of Imam Khamenei & Pres. Ahmadinejad, just because a few thousand people rallied. Also, believe me, if there had been no wish to allow them to rally, they wouldn't have made it to the place of the rally to begin with. What you are seeing today is about letting the losers let off some steam. If you think it's a revolution, you are ridiculous. Worse, if you think it's a revolution against the Islamic Republic and that it would succeed, you need to get your head checked, bcz you obviously think the imara that the rich have built for themselves in a few suburbs of Tehran is enough to take over the entire country.
Yeah, sure, why would they guarantee Moussavi's safety if he is fielding his thugs and holding rallies against the law? he is violating the law, isn't he? Therefore, he is outside the boundaries of the law and has no rights because he is not abiding by his responsibilities as a citizen. The same goes for the safety of all those who have gathered at the place of the illegal rally. :) they can all be shot and killed for all I care. :) And actually, I fully endorse the arrest and execution of Moussavi, for putting the security and existence of Iran last, and his personal interests (and zionists' interests) first. If he wants to have a color revolution he may go seek citizenship in Georgia or Ukraine or something.

On what basis do you say this?In zionist-infested rich and satan-worshipping suburbs of Tehran, maybe, but then that was a known thing, not a breakthrough. what about the rest of the population of Iran, 69.5 million, the ones you forgot about, remember them? :)
You're obviously a nutcase. There's no need to talk to you.

also, i think it is a compliment to be told i am a nutcase by some1 who supports thugs burning down shops and assaulting policemen without any provocation , and who supports those who want to eliminate the vote of 25 million of their fellow compatriots just because they think their vote did not count bcz the result is not as they would like it to be. !!

Reuters: Pre-election Iranian poll showed Ahmadinejad support

A poll of Iran's electorate three weeks before its election showed President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad leading by a 2-to-1 ratio, greater than the announced results of the contested vote, the pollsters said on Monday.

The poll showed Ahmadinejad's disputed victory, which has sparked riots and demonstrations since it was announced, might reflect the will of the people and "is not the product of widespread fraud," pollsters Ken Ballen and Patrick Doherty said in a column in The Washington Post.

"While Western news reports from Tehran in the days leading up to the voting portrayed an Iranian public enthusiastic about Ahmadinejad's principal opponent ... our scientific sampling from across all 30 of Iran's provinces showed Ahmadinejad well ahead," the pollsters said.

The poll was conducted by their nonprofit organizations -- Terror Free Tomorrow: The Center for Public Opinion and the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation -- from May 11 to 20 and funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

It was the third in a series of polls over the past two years and consisted of 1,001 telephone interviews in Farsi from a neighboring country, with a 3.1 percent margin of error.

"The breadth of Ahmadinejad's support was apparent in our pre-election survey," the pollsters said, rejecting arguments the poll might have reflected a fearful reluctance to give honest answers.

i did not wish their death. i said i do not care if they all die. it won't change a thing. for me, they are all dead to begin with, they do not matter. they are irrelevant, because they are just crumbs that will be fed to the birds, will fade away when the money-line from america and israel is cut off. they are nothings & do not care about Iran, so why should Iran care about them? it has cared too much about them, it has given them far more than they would ever deserve, it has given them prosperous lives, education, health care, uppr-class lives they would never be able to lead anywhere else, not even in the U.S. they are traitors and i do not care about the fate of traitors just as i would not care if an israeli collaborator in Lebanon is shot and killed. u think i would cry over him ? also, they are not a million people. A hundred thousand is more like it.

this is bigger than oktober 1917.

and we will know how to deal with those parties whose arab mercenaries wound and maim and kill our people, the workers and women and students, in the streets of tehran. beware. game is nearly over, the day of revenge is coming.

tyrants and fanatics! this will destroy you.
are you serious?? what has 1917 have to do here?? I wouldnt use such big words, this revolution is not going anywhere beyond Tehran...the only thing I hope for Israel wont launch an attack... now that would mess up things surely to say the least...but as I expect, both sides are good at bluffing, so what you see is just parade.

I wouldn't even say Tehran city, but some neighborhoods in Tehran city.

If that happens, Moussavi and his thugs will be history along with isra2il.

TO THIS MINUTE, Moussavi the liar has provided no evidence of fraud. Absolutely none. Only speculation, a show of force over the past 3 days, but nothing more than that. The authorities have been using kid gloves. If Rafsanjani does not put an end to this thuggery on the streets of Tehran because of Pres. Ahmadinejad's promise to expose his corruption, he will become history too, and not the Supreme Leader of Iran as he hopes to be.

Lol @ the Saudi slave talking about freedom and "worthless" investments. Because Saudi Arabia is the freest country in the Middle East, right?

Worthless investments are your Hariri militias and Fatah al-Islam which both blew up in Hariri's face, both literally and figuratively.

I have no problem with dissent. All people should be free to dissent against their government, and dissent should always be expected.

However, these protests reek of the same foreign-financed thuggery that the West has used against developing countries for years. They did the exact same thing to Mossadegh, who was the democratically elected leader of Iran in the 50s. Hugo Chavez of Venezuela also went through the same experience and still defeated the West in a referendum. They also tried this on Tayyip Erdogan whose Islamist party won Turkish elections.

Blocking the freedom of speech is not authoritarian enough?? Check where censorship belongs, to democracy or to autochracy.
