In Afghanistan? Yes...

In Iraq? That is debatable...

Afghanistan is different from Iraq. It was invaded for two reasons: the Taliban's link to Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda's guilt in the 9-11 attacks, and the Taliban's illegitimate government and it's dictatorship!

Now we can judge the US for their history and their failing strategies, but Afghanistan is a just war! That is why the EU countries are as active there as the US!

Give me a source or citation which link Bin Laden to the 9/11 attacks.

I said so... I'm the source!

Ya3neh it gets really pretty in here sometimes! I can understand that Saddam had legitimacy, but are you going to start defending Al Qaeda and the Taliban??

Shame...

Probably because you prefer foreign terrorists to respectful soldiers trying to help the locals!

Dude, don't confuse Afghanistan and Iraq! Believe me! I've read enough articles to understand a bit what's going on in Afghanistan! It's a whole different war out there.

The Taliban (not all of them, but most of them), do not rely on public legitimacy. They don't care about the civil population. They only want to wage holly war! That's all they are good at!

Some of them have started to change since 2-3 years ago... They have started to mix with the populations, trying to build legitimacy. But they are a minority. Most Taliban groups are a bunch of foreign fundamentalist drug dealers (yeah drugs were prohibited before, but they make a fine living out of it now! Talk about following your own principles!) who slaughter each other whenever they get the chance to make an inside coup! They're just unemployed losers who only got one thing in their mind: killing!

That is why Obama said he is ready to talk to "some" Taliban groups, the one who "want to" make peace and try to live in peace and defend the locals' interests... Because some have evolved, while the others are real terrorists (the likes of Fatah al-Islam, but even worst)!

RIP. He died because foreign terrorists do not want the locals to enjoy democracy and freedom of expression
No he died because his government supported and lent support to the inception of a puppet, pan-western, corrupt afghani govermnent.

Let us try not to revel in the idiocy they try to feed us. Okay.

Are you serious?! Why don't we just invite the americans so they can give the locals in Lebanon real democracy and freedom of expression instead of this pseudo-freedom we have? This soldier was a legit target like any other soldier is in Afghanistan and Iraq. He should not be seen as different just because he has lebanese origins. It would have been a million times more noble of him if he just had stayed at home..!

Admins: are you going to delete this post too?
As far as I'm concerned, Ben Laden and Aiman el Zawahiri aren't Afghans!
