45 years prison and hard labor

Great, now we can welcome all the Lebanese from Israel back to our Lebanese jails.

Isn't this a bit excessive and sends the wrong message?

اصدرت المحكمة العسكرية الدائمة برئاسة العميد الركن نزار خليل وعضوية المستشار القاضي مصطفى ترو في حضور مفوض الحكومة المعاون القاضي سامي صادر تسعة احكام وجاهية بتاريخ 15/3/2006 في حق فارس الحمرا قضت بسجنه 45 عاماً، وجاءت الاحكام كالآتي:
- حكمان وجاهيان قضيا بالاشغال الشاقة لمدة خمس سنوات وتجريده من حقوقه المدنية لاقدامه على اجراء اتصال بالعدو الاسرائيلي وعملائه والتعامل معه.
- ثلاثة احكام وجاهية قضت بالاشغال الشاقة لمدة خمس سنوات وتجريده من حقوقه المدنية لاقدامه على التعامل مع عملاء العدو الاسرائيلي.
- حكم وجاهي قضى بالاشغال الشاقة لمدة خمس سنوات ومليون ليرة غرامة وتجريده من حقوقه المدنية لاقدامه على التعامل مع عملاء العدو الاسرائيلي وعلى دخول بلاده دون اذن.
- حكم وجاهي قضى بالاشغال الشاقة لمدة خمس سنوات وتجريده من حقوقه المدنية لاقدامه على التعامل مع العدو الاسرائيلي والتدخل بجرم حجز حرية رقيب اول في الجيش اللبناني.
- حكمان وجاهيان قضيا بالاشغال الشاقة لمدة خمس سنوات وتجريده من حقوقه المدنية لاقدامه على التعامل مع العدو الاسرائيلي وعملائه.
ويمكن للحمرا ان يطلب ادغام الاحكام التسعة في حكم واحد مدته خمس سنوات نظراً لتشابه التهم التي ادين بها، كما ان هذه الاحكام قابلة للاعتراض امام محكمة التمييز العسكرية

You have to see the nature of his case... whats the exact conditions, was it for just bein in Israel or for actually collaborating with the Israeli army...

Here in the US, simillar charges will bring up sentences ranging from life behind bars to Death penalty!

Since syria is the enemy also right now how about that we trial everyone that collaborated with syria, oh wait, that leaves 5% of our political class.

Some of these people killed and tortured other Lebanese, and they wanted to be kept by Israel. They killed, they stole someone elses life away, and they were working against the Lebanese law. Why is it that when people try to implement the law in any case, people have to jump in and criticize? Wasn't it Michel Aoun who was asking for a judicial system? 45 years isn't much for a murderer. Most of the ones that came back did a couple of months max. These were fighting against lebanon. It wasn't a civil war. They were fighting to keep the land with Israel. They didnt want the land to be with lebanon. The lebanese law plain and simply said that they were traitors.

If we start openning the files about collaboration with foreign countries,i think also that others,who went out recently from jail,should return and spend 34 others years (45-11=34 years)

Anyway,i hope that the persons who are in Israel returns,and that their sentences will be fair!!!

Both FPM and Hezbollah were expecting such move from February 14 after the signed ‎agreement between the Tayyar and the Hezb, we knew that they will interfere with the ‎judicial system and make a harsh punishment on anyone so the Lebanese in Israel fear ‎and change their mind about the return. Once again 14 February proving that Restom ‎Ghazele is still here. ‎

yalla, ouf i believe ye3ni all the members families Harriri, Jumbo and Berri should put in jail a 45years to balance it...
