Firdos restaurant in Ihden. Lovely view, quality food, great service and cosy warm hospitality!

When I travel to Lebanon, I never think of eating anything other than Lebanese food because

it's very expensive around here. A small plate of hummous costs £5!!! Still I would always drop

by chillis for a molten chocolate cake

I love Mhana, a restaurant in the souk next to the berdawneh river, the food is sublime and your sitting adjacent to a river...what more could u want.

In Beirut, i like Schtroumpfs, has the best salads, although it can get be a bit noisy seeing its located next to a highway.

I know I am a little bit out of the toppic but I think we are missing some good international food like Vietnamese soups, Thailand food, even vegan restaurants. I think it would be a good idea to open something unusual and introduce new food to Lebanese since they are very open to try new things.

Massaya is good... its on a wineyard, open air buffet (fondu, cotelette, barbecue, etc...), and u drink the wine (rosee and red wine) a gogo, that is bottled from the wineyard... It's somewhere in the Bekaa...

So and DT are good, Roadters too (fast casual dining), 3erzel (arabic, in faraya) or Shaker (in faqra), O&C Fresh Market and Manarit el Khalij and Le Bleu and Pepe (Seafood, in Zalka, Ghazir and Jbeil), Tsunami (sushi)... MAssaad in Zahle is the best Taouk, Entrecote (classy steak place)...

But the best resto of them all, is my mom's kitchen :)
