TSC - The Sultan Center will stop selling alcohols

I have just read that TCS will stop selling any kind of alcohol in their stores. TCS is a Kuwaiti owned store, and TCS do not sell alcohol in the other stores they own in the other countries.

For me, I find that this is unacceptable for anyone to try forcing their way of life on any Lebanese, and I call for boycotting TCS.

It is not about alcohol, but about forcing other way of life on anyone, and I ask you to spread the idea of boycotting TCS as well, if you are against this.

BTW are you boycotting Israeli goods? Can't you buy ur alcohol from somewhere else? Are they really Forcing you to Convert to Islam by not selling Beer?

so if the owners are muslims, and think that making money from alcohol and poisoning people is wrong (while still selling tobbaco which is ironic) you boycott them?

there are many lebanese who believe this too, boycott them all?

شركة سلطان تتخلص من خمور لبنان الشهر المقبل
".....من جهة اخرى، ذكرت مصادر داخل مركز سلطان لـ «الوطن» ان «شركة مركز سلطان للمواد الغذائية ستنتهي الشهر المقبل من إزالة المشروبات والخمور من المتاجر التي تمتلكها في لبنان».

وافادت المصادر أن «ما أخر الإزالة هو عدم انتهاء عقود تأجير للأرفف لبعض الجهات أبرمت مع الملاك السابقين للمتاجر».


This will include City Mall, TSC Ashrafieh, Jnah, Jounieh, Hazmieh and any previous Monoprix which is now re-branded TSC.

Just to inform you more,

TSC is now thinking to buy Spinney's,

So this measure will cover Spinney's as well in the future if the deal is successful.

Imagine the benefits brought by the Gulf investors.

what i am against is not giving the people th option to choose, and they are applying their religion in something that has an effect on the MASS in a country where people, i suppose, respect each other way of life

if it is a small shop in your neighborhood, i would have not minded, but it is in the middle of DORA and it is giving its services to all the people of the region. i find that by doing this, they are driving people more into TCS management believes.

imagine that TCS sells only pork, would you consider this something important to boycott?

i am not baycotting the musilims, in contrast, i do repect thier relegion and believes, and i do not mind that they do not drink or eat pork.

i am baycotting not giving the choice for the people. TCS is providing its services to many people in metn region, which is of a christian majority, so by doing this they are not respoecting neither our believes, relegion, nor or way of life since they are trying to enforce this on their clients on one way or another.

please do not see this as musilim christian issue, but it is about the libirty of choice and believe

surely it is something that i do not like having.
lebanon is becoming controlled in one way or another by foriegners, and especially from the gulf.

such big establishments should have a lebanese majority, and this should be enforced by the law.

No they are doing you a favor, Now you can Open a shop to sell Alcohol in DORA and Make a Huge amount of profit out of it because u'll be the only one.

Isn't there any other shop for example? go buy from there, darouri this one? must I as a Muslim Go to Hell for selling alcohol so that you feel good about me? Why Must you force ur religion on them and tell them to sell alcohol? Ur Talking as if they're denying you first aid and medicine...

If TSC sells pork I would still go there if it was the only shop and i would buy everything except for Pork, what is the problem? and if the only meat in the Entire Country is Pork and nothing else then it is permissible for me as a muslim to eat pork.
