Ten things that need improvement in Lebanon

Lebanon, if ever, a country that is in dire need of improvement.. We all went through various issues in Lebanon and would surely have recommendations to make it a better place.

If you could think of 10 things to improve, what would they be?

mmmm! where do I start?

Safe roads?

Waste management?

Personally I'd start with reforming the arts world to reflect the true side of the truth.

More unpredictable politicians. I'd like to see more appreciation by the people of this quality.

More local festivals without the fireworks. Lats year I nearly...killed someone.

More fun venues that everyone can afford. It helps get teen agers out of the house and the need to be great.

Electricity, so we dont resort to primitive means to seek enlightenment. Must admit in evenings with some people i prefer those means.

Nice parking lots for the Big festivals like Beit Eddine and Baalbeck etc . Parking with like minded people makes the cultural experience more reflective.

A well studied policy by the government to encourage people to emigrate. Lebanon is so crowded so a balanced approach between the sects is needed so no one will feel left out of a chnace at happiness.

New dams perhaps?

1) highway linking Beirut to Jerusalem
2) reform roads and traffic authority
3) get rid of the bada bing bada boom men zabeta or btetzabat attitude
4) bring back conscription
5) employment and wages
6) public beaches
7) preserve historical and archeological land marks
8) Electricity
9) national debt and allocate every spare dollar to increase the council budgets and get rid of corrupt mayors
10) limit the building of churhes and mosques to one per town. my town with a population of 50 full time christian winter residents (although it does increase to a 1000 in summer if not more) has 3 churches and 3 mosques. Lasho hal ba3za2a? invest the money in community development.

1) Spray the entire country with gas
2) Spark
3) Start all over again.

Lebanon in its current condition is an experiment that went bad....really bad.

Your idea won't work:

1)spraying with gas : you have to make a "monakassa" to buy the gas , people will make "safakat" , and you will end up by buying gas "maghchouch" that won't ignite.


2) spark : no electrical power to start the spark , the matches are "fessdin" w "manzou3in" and won't spark either

3) start all over again : the same problems will start again....becauuse they are imbedded in our DNA
