Wow, I just checked it now and Jeita Grotto is in POsition 23 :)
The surprising thing is that the cedars Forest is now position 21

However, Cedars Status is still in Yellow, It still has to be confirmed by someone official or so to be qualified (Not so clear to me)... Jeita is already in Green :)

YEAH, SOME GUYS USED SOME APPLICATION TO VOTE IN MASS AND THEY CONSIDERED IT AS CHEATING AND DISQUALIFIED US...

ONCE AGAIN LEBANESE PEOPLE WHO HAD AN IMPORTANT CHANCE TO SHOW THE GOOD & BEAUTIFUL SIDE OF LEBANON SHOWED THE REAL SIDE OF IT WHICH IS CHEATING AND CORRUPTIONNN...

i am really sad how few people can ruin a lot of good work

Yeah I'm surprised for many reasons:

Ther's a big difference between voting with different personnal Emails and using an application to send thousands of votes/day... I dont see the problem if I vote with all my Email address cz any voter can do so... but using a mass Email sender is unfair cz not every country has access to such an application so it creates inequality.

I am also surprised how they disqualified us and not just remove Emails sent from this application. It is not serious bcz some country can now vote with this application to a competitor and disqualify him....

They can for exemple keep vote coming from known providers (gmail, yahoo, hotmail,...) which are hard to send in mass...

It is really disappointing, both from the side of those naive persons who cheated and from the side of the site which overlooked the thousands of people who really voted.

i checked today to see the rank of the Ceders and Geita but i didn't found them in the top 77 neither on list of nominees for the competition.
WTF happened.

لجنة دعم ترشيح جعيتا والارز: للالتزام بالموقع الرسمي للتصويت لتصنيفهما بين عجائب الدنيا السبع

اعتبرت اللجنة الوطنية لدعم ترشيح مغارة جعيتا ومحميات الارز الطبيعية لتصنيفهما من عجائب الدنيا السبع في بيان لها اليوم، اعتبرت انها "قامت بمجهود جبار لإعلام الرأي العام اللبناني بأهمية هذا الحدث". وطلبت الدعم والمساهمة في التصويت التاريخي عبر:

New7Wonders: Welcome to the official global voting platform of New7Wonders

وهي المؤسسة الشرعية الوحيدة التي تنظم هذه الحملة".
واشارت الى انه " كان التجاوب بين اللبنانيين جيدا حتى وصلت الحماسة بالبعض وللاسف الى تجاوز بعض شروط هذه المسابقة العالمية واجراء عمليات تصويت خارج الموقع الرسمي الوحيد مما دفع باللجنة العالمية الى توجيه انذار رسمي جدي لعزل الموقعين اللبنانيين المرشحين من لائحة المتبارين الدوليين".
ودعت اللجنة الوطنية جميع اللبنانيين الى الالتزام عند التصويت الى جانب غابة الارز اللبنانية ومغارة جعيتا بالموقع الرسمي الوحيد.
