DI you forgot the cruising part when everyone pretend to love each other as if they know them from a long time and most will stand up and start socializing with each other ye3ne mitl el 7emem el ma2tou3a mayto.
And as soon as they land they dont know each other and start to hate them just because they are in lebanon.

To be Lebanese means you are always the victim of others' conspiracies:

"Hinné bas yeterkoona b7alna w yshoofo Lébnén keef beseer jannéh"

------------

Akleen bi 7alna ma2lab:

"Ghatti el shams bfai jbeenak... byekfé ennak Lebnani... batal el 7arb w batal el selm... hamzet wasl el shar2 el gharb..."

If we're so smart why are the others so easily able to play with us and make us destroy our country by our own hands?

We always claim it's other people's wars on Lebanese soil. If so, why are we so stupid to fight the others' wars?

------------

"Be7e2ellak watanak deenak" . . . "ouwetna b we7detna"

We sing so much about such things because they don't exist in our Lebanon. We want to convince ourselves that this is how we really are.

-----------

So, donc sma7oolé stop here parce que bekaffi.. innu enough 7aké.. oui?

Merci w tank you.. w tanks kteer!

I love the part when someone tells you :
" ana mich mt3asseb, bass inty/inta min wein?"
" ana mich mt3asseb, bass hini ma byifhamo ........"

and the best : when you see someone bashing and insulting the other sect but he ends his speech with "ikhwenna"

Lebanese are just weird...

we love life

we should be proud to be lebanese, because we have a great history

we should be proud to be lebanese because we are people who never dies and refuse to surrender we resist till the death and we die to protect our land

we have 3 language:

Constantly in conflict with each other!

It's about quality and not quantity...

Same as above, and let's not forget: you get your diploma for tens of thousands of dollars, then get a shitty job that pays you just enough to survive!

100 banks, no industry, bad agriculture!

Quote:
5. 70% des étudiants sont dans des écoles privées.
Nothing to be proud of. If the government were doing its job, this number would have a different meaning!

Never heard of those expressions... Then again, if Lebanon's heaven, then I wouldn't want to know where hell is!

Again, it's about quality and not quantity! Plus I'd like someone to check those numbers! Also, if that is true, then let the health system improve!

Yeah... "Pays du Dieu sur Terre"...

11. Il ya 4 millions de Libanais au LIBAN.
There are actually no more than 2.5 million Lebanese, and about 1.5 million foreigners.

Quote:

And we're still blaming others for problems we create ourselves!

Let's preserve it then! Good thing we get the help of Westerners to do so!

3.LIBAN "le nom date d'environ 4.000 ans
Does the saying "Pays du Dieu sur Terre" also date from so long ago? If so, they should change the name of the country!

Perhaps if we did, we would do more to preserve our waters amongst other!

Thanks to the Lebanese?

Yeah, he was Phoenician, not Lebanese!

Yeah, it is on this site that the Byblos festival takes place, and where Sopranos and Muezzins compete for who has the nicest voice!

Yes, and we managed to keep our reputation as saints till this day!

Most of those books talk about events dating from 1975 to 1990...

Better a stable and enlightened dictatorship than an unstable and backward democracy!

Quote:
A Jew doing a miracle in Lebanon... Lebanon has no industries, I get it, but does it also have to import miracles?

Again, Phoenicians and Lebanese are different people...

That turned out to be untrue!

Quote:
Yes, people came from all over the world to get a Law degree in Berytus, then sailed away to Lutece to get another Master because of the lack of jobs!

Quote:

That post caricaturizes Lebanese people perfectly: very proud people. They will tell you Lebanon is a haven for democracy and freedom in a region with none. They will tell you Lebanese are civilized and educated, that living is good in Lebanon and that the rest of the region (and the world) can't compare to it!

So they send these forwards idolizing Lebanon, 30 positive description and no negative one!
