Kornet el sawda - The Orange Room

Has anyone here ever been to kornet el sawda?
i need as much information as possible
is it better to spend a night in a hotel then wake up early and go(since its a hike)?
how far can u go up in a car before you have to start walking?
is it worth it?

I always used to go there when I was younger, the best is to spend your night in an hotel in Ehden and then go up until where you can reach with your car, I don't remember very well how much you can go up before you have to stop your car, but I think it's not very far from the mountain top

I went from Beirut to Kornet el sawda in one day (back and forth) including visiting wadi kadisha, mind you i have also driven from Montreal to Toronto, Montreal to LaSarre, Milton PA to Washington DC, Cannes to Parma etc. so this Kornet el sawda thing is just a joy ride, you can go up in your car to the top, not the very top but the same top you are able to walk to.
