Icon7 A... GOOD MORNING... - 25th September 2007

What would you feel if a stranger says a GOOD MORNING when seeing you??
I personally may reply with a large smile and think how nice it was...
Maybe some others would be like that , others like that but most of them will be like that or even like that ...

So, in order to start a BETTER way of living in Lebanon, I was thinking: why we, lfpmers, even if not FPMers, don't have that initiative and start to say "SABA7 EL KHEIR", and not Bonjour neither Good morning, to every person we meet on the road, in a shop, wherever we pass by...??
Why don't we start a new way of life while each one of us makes the day of at least 10 persons per day??
How many persons we meet daily, same ones on our way to work for example, or new ones or those whom we've never seen before but stuck like us in a traffic or driving near to our car... or even those that are in THE SAME taxi... Strangers yes... BUT FELLOW LEBANESE...
Let's start saying SABA7 EL KHEIR to all the people around us just because our eyes saw theirs... Just because their body passed near ours... and let's wait for the results... Maybe it will becoma a GOOD habit and smiles RAIN everywhere in LEBANON...

What do you think??

Why wait till you get on the street:

Saba7 El Khayrat……(Though I am not an FPMer!).

Cheers.

Since you showed some faces in your original post, I reckoned that you will post your initial reaction here also.

But I have to say that if the purpose of this "Saba7 El Kheir" that you are promoting is solely to see people's reactions, I pray to differ with you. After all, a more "proper" cause would be to spread some intimacy between the different people, where "Saba7 El Kheir" is, eventually, a sign of friendship and amity!

cheers.

I know... and I wanted to use an emoticon but the ones already used are the only ones I still remember... I have a real bad connexion and I type the codes in order to have them...
I didn't refuse your Good Morning but I wanted this to happen outside the forum also... THAT'S it... About the reaction, it's not the main aim,... but it's nice to see if you really influenced them... The main object is to change someone's day or at least, let him smile for an hour maybe...

I hate that Bonjour thingy, i'd feel strange to say it. My French is worth lamenting over lol.

Can we add "alsalamu 3alaikum" to the "Saba7 lkeir"?

Kakou, I'd like to know, is it strange to say "saba7 lkeir" where you live?

This is actually a little weird, you can't say to a complete strander 'saba7 l kheir'. I said it to a woman that i see almost daily cuz she's from the hood yet i dont know her, still it felt weird. I agree with the arabic sabah l kheir instead of the french wanabe bonjour.
