Ok guys, concentrate and try to see the bigger picture.
There was a lot of buzz on the net where people were threatening the life of Gad el Maleh.
There was a lot of people who believed that lie and wanted to do something about it.
As for what the FPM should do about it, well, try not to see it from a Beiteddine festival point of view.
Try to see it from a liberal society's point of view.
The FPM strives to have a liberal society, a country free of intellectual terrorism.
The Gad el Maleh incident was reported all over the news, all over the world.
What would other jewish and non jewish artists think about it ?
How would people and other government depict Lebanon after such a bad publicity ?
The reputation of your country is built on these small things, whenever other same incidents happen, they build up and soon the only artists you'll get in Lebanon would be some shady dudes from KSA, Syria and Soudan.
The FPM should stand up and talk about its opposition to this decision, since it was politically motivated and since it's the image of the country that's taking the hit.
And last I looked, the FPM was a defender of these great causes
