There is no doubt that the Lebanese culture is very rich, but sometimes I read stories from Lebanon that makes me disappointed and does not know whether to laugh or to cry....

كدمات في وجه عريس ليلة زفافه بسبب إشكال في زوطر بين أهله وأهل

أدى اشكال فردي في منطقة زوطر الغربية إلى قطع الطريق على فرحة العريس ز.عنيسي وعروسه ر.عنيسي، اذ حصل عراك وتشابك في الايدي وتبادل رمي الكراسي بين اهل العروسين لم يسلم منه العريس الذي اصيب بعدة كدمات في وجهه.
وحصل الإشكال بسبب خلافات عائلية قديمة ادى الى سقوط خمسة جرحى توزعوا على مستشفيات النبطية، واستدعى تدخل القوى الامنية لتطويقه بعد ان "كمن" اهل العروس لاهل العريس على مفرق منزل العريس في بلدة زوطر الغربية حيث مكان العرس.
- Are the entire families going to marry each other or is it only a young man and and young lady that possibly (hopefully) fell in love?
- If there is "خلافات عائلية قديمة" why is this marriage then? You cannot/should not solve such problems by destroying the lives of 2 young people....
Well, may be I changed my mentality since I have been living in Norway for more than 25 years, however, I would like to hear the opinon of other people from Lebanon and abroad.
