Thats 1/10 of the inbox of my mobile phone, every day I receice a new message asking me if I want the picture of Haifa the song of nancy, telling me that I won one of those CD: Nassrallah cd, GMA cd, SG cd... telling me that they began the discount, that they reached the middle of the discount, the end of the discount and when we say khay february is finished they extend the discount!!! (actually in february we have a symphonie at home one cell phone begin to ring and 3 others follow and they all received the same message) and many more messages.

Who tolds them I want all of this, who asked them to send me the message?? Who told them that on a sunday morning at 8 am I want them to wake me up just to know that they have the new haifa song!!!!

Don't you think that they should control this sector, shouldn't they at least give us the option to unsuscribe (knowing that we didn't subscribe in the 1st place), in the past they used to send info messages so we could just turn off the reception of info message but now you have to receive the message bil 2ouweh.

So is there someone like me that hates all this and do you think that we could do something to stop all this!!!!!!

Who told you to spread you mobile number all around? I personally rarely receive these kinds of sms on my mobile. And when I receive any by fault, I track the sending company and asks to remove my number from their databases.

Actually I didn't spread my number anywhere but when u said that I remmbered something, a lot of people send me messages from the net (naharnet mobile center...) so do you think those companies use those numbers?
And can you please explain how to track the companies and ask them to remove the number? for example how do i know who is 1066?

there is a company called "Liban Call" 01 311111. call and ask. If not, try to get in touch with the company that is advertising and track the service provider..

Thanks I'll try that! but anyway unsubscribing should be made possible in a certain easier way (sms or mail) and once again I am pretty sure I never subscribed to anything the only store I ever gave my number to is thiery's friends and I never received an sms from them!

Most of the times its naharnet. There is a disclaimer that tells u they have the right to take the numbers.

Well the other day I got an SMS telling me that I won a free CD for one of the political personalities, GMA or Geagea or Nasrallah or Joumblat or Hariri etc... and with free delivery to my door. "call blablabla..."

Well I wasn't really interested so I just ignored the SMS. Later on they phoned me. "Sir you won a Free CD blablabla we're a company blabla, which personality will you choose?"

Being the modest guy, I said "Well really no one, it's ok."

"But sir!! You won!!! It's free with free delivery"

Seeing her point and realizing I was stupid, I then asked for a GMA cd. "Yalla, l General."

"We will contact you soon for your address, thank you."

And that was the last time I heard from them.

Strange... They did the same thing with my mom (but they wanted to sell an encyclopedia) but they said it was a 35$ delivery (but we won for free!!!) so I guess those people are just trying to find out who u support.

Yes I wont that one too (in the same week... That was my not so lucky week I guess). The girl was like "blablablablabla 200$ but you won it for free!!!"
