That's why there are city bylaws and building permits, but in Lebanon the mayor is usually one of the investors in the building and people vote for him because he gives them a contract to paint the walls of that building he's investing in. You think people are against corruption? that's a joke... Collectivity is not a lebanse concept, 7aret kill min idou 2elou, min fi ye2rot el teni aktar.

Not impressed with it design wise.
Also Building doesn't blend well with the surrounding.
On a side note, I think Beirut should concentrate high rises in one area. (Near St George bay!)
