Since im from Zokak el Blat then Im entiteled to say that Beirut Sucks, Its a Huge and disturbing concrete Jungle. I can't imagine living there Unless I own a Helicopter, Otherwise I'd feel trapped.

Let us suppose that the issue of buying land there is a problem. Who is to be blamed? Is it those who bought it or those who sold these land among the "beirut ilna" crop? and probably the crop of "zay ma hiyye'?

theyre both responsible... But the people sold there lands before they knew what was going on so....

In Lebanon, no; but with Beirutians outside, yes. Most of the mothers who did the cooking were from Tripoli though :b. I'd have to give them credit for the hospitality... Leave your guests to eat 3a ra7iton! What if they can't eat anymore and you continue to insist? :D As a matter of fact, i've got one coming up at an FM home lol. I'll make sure we stay away from politics and focus only on the food...
