Post 10th Annual Australia Day Event - 11th January 2008

Hi guys,

UALM Australia Day 08
UALM to hold 10th Australia day awards night

The United Australian Lebanese Movement (UALM) has the pleasure in inviting you to attend our 10th annual Australia Day awards night. It would be an honour for us if you attend this very special occasion.

Over the last ten years this event has grown to be a great success. Each year the UALM recognises and honours the outstanding achievements of many Australian Lebanese for their contribution to Australia.

The UALM celebrations have the full backing and support of the Australia Day Council of N.S.W, The Council has also allocated an Ambassador for our event.

A cocktail will be held prior to the awards ceremony.

Your participation and attendance is a great privilege and we look forward to seeing you there.

When: Friday 25th of January 2008

Time: 7pm for 7:30pm to 10:00pm (Approx. finish time)

If you would like more information regarding the event, please feel free to ask. We encourage all Australian Lebanese to attend the event, regardless of your political beliefs.

I think you should change name, most Lebanese Australians are not with FPM, hence the name United Australian Lebanese movement is misleading.

Most of Lebanese Australian are not with FPM for a simple reason 90% of them are Bcheraniyeh

So you agree that FPM isnt supported in Oz, so is a change in name warranted, yes or no?, how about you answer my post with something worth writing about,
and to agent orange, believe me Bcheraniyeh are not the reason Lebanese are not liked down under, why dont you google 'cronulla riots' and you'll learn something today.

Than you would agree that the LF are not supported by all of Lebanon and THEY should change their name too from Lebanes Forces to Geagea Forces or thug forces.
And I did google the riots and learnt that the bcheraniyeh were just behavinglike their fearless leader SG..typical thug.

I agree the LF should, ive been saying it for years, do you agree that UALM should change then?
and if you really googled riots in Sydney you would see that the response on behalf of the lebanese community came from the head of the Australian Islamic assoc. Hint hint about whther or not your argument about bechraniyeh is right. as usual, you ask an oranger a question, and the response is what about LF?, the thugs, the murderes etc.
Its funny because its like you guys have been programmed since you were kids that LFers are satan. Were all lebanese, and FPMers and LF, outside politics are exactly the same.
Maybe its the disease of GMA that you guys have, which is to disrespect anyone that doesnt agree with you.
times will change, and hopefully fpm and ualm will go back to its roots.
For the record i used to be with ualm 4 years back.

talking about Bcheraniyeh, since my mom is from Hadchit bcharreh and most of my relatives from my mother side are living in australia, and unfortunatly most of them are LFers, yes i agree that FPM may not be supported the way it should be(i'm talking here about the bcheraniyeh in australia and it may not be true for others), especially that most of the new born there who have no clue about the Lebanese politics have been taugh to hate GMA.
as for the name is see no reason to change it, anyway what do you suggest? DALM?
