What are the things/hobbies/professions..... that you have insufficient knowledge of and you really like to improve yourself and discover it .....
or u really don't care if u know about it or not ?

I will start by myself:

I have no idea about electricity ... i remember at school, we had a course talking about such thing but i forgot everything about it ... 2anja2 ba3rif fekk prise l kahraba iza bou chi w zabto ...w ghayyir l lamba...:blushing:

The other thing is cars... i don't know how cars really work (mechanical wise) .. all i know is to add fuel and water to my car and wash it from time to time :blushing: ... ma3 inno i like to know about it more

3 weeks ago, a friend called and told me that she won a free trip to Sharm el Sheikh.
To make the long story short, she was in a mall in Lebanon, a guy behind a stand gave her a ticket that she scratched and won a free trip to sharm el sheikh. They told her that she has to leave 40.000 LL deposit, and she will get her money back when she goes to their company to receive the present that she just won.
She gave them 40.000 LL, they told her that the offer is for couples, that's why she gave them my name, because she is not in relation with anyone for the time being, this way she became elligible to receive the present.

We were given an appointment at a hotel in Hazmieh to go and pick up what she won, we went there, and a guy took us to a big hall where 10s of couple were sitting with a representative of the "company".

We were seated around a round table, and the representative told us that he wants to tell us about something before we get the prize we won.
He gave us the 40.000 LL back, and a paper saying that she won one week at sharm, but we have to pay for the tickets, and they would only cover the stay.
Then the guy started explaining the concept of Timeshare which is about paying 2500 USD and owning in return a free week anywhere in the world, for life.
He showed us a catalogue of more than 2300 resorts in the world, some of which are well known fancy hotels.

So the idea is that we pay 2500 USD, in return we get one week of free stay in any resort of the 2300 resorts, every year, for life. We can sell our share.

I told him that I liked the idea, and the price is good if his offer is true and real.
2500 USD for one week yearly free stay anywhere in the world is good.
I told him that I need a copy of the catalogue CD, and I need to check the reviews about their services, and ask people who already bought shares, and if everything is fine, I would call them back the next day.

He said that this offer is active only if I sign a contract now, and this this offer will stop the moment I step out from the room.
He also said that 8000 families in Lebanon took the offer and that they are happy.
He said that the price if I decide to come back the next day will be 5000 USD and not 2500 USD.
I told him, fine, I prefer to pay 5000 USD after verifying that this offer is true and real, instead of signing a contract that I know nothing about, especially that I know nothing about them.

So we went out without signing any paper.

I did a little search later on about timeshare and I found an interesting web site about this service that I would like to share with you on this forum.

This is lebanon, ppl who indiscriminately honk when in their cars are everywhere

this is a really important topic since ppl have monstrous car horns and honk with them regularly for pretty much any banal and retarded reason to prove to the world that indeed this is a backwater country where inconsiderate sound pollution is just another freebie

i'm sure it is a great feeling when one honks an annoying honk from within his/her metallic car, it gives a great sense of protection and worth too since a person who can barely pronounce his name right can confidently honk his freaking car horn in the middle of the night to annoy everybody and express how great he is and how messed up god was in designing humans..

so plz share ur views with us on this very civilized lebanese way of sounding retarded ;)

What are ur plans for the Afterlife ?

it's inevitable, everyone got a ticked to the afterlife

we're all just waiting for the grim reaper public transportation ferry

but whether we are going someone or pretty much nowhere it's just good sense to plan ahead

we got our lives here planed, we know what we enjoy & what we dislike, who we like and what we want to try to do while breathing, it's all magical we wouldnt trade it for anything in the world and rightfully so

but once we are just a memory here it might be nice to try to do something in the afterlife if we relocate there

who knows, perhaps try to meet up with old friends, come back to haunt the living or perhaps just try to topple the kingdom of god..

i just hope that there is something interesting going, cuz between being nothing and being eternally bored i will take the first option ;)

so, think about it and tell us what u'd like to do when u are dead ;)

me i think i might start a music band in the afterlife to keep everybody happy and inspired, who knows prehaps the living might hear the echoes of it also and get inspired to be more soulful, humane and creative ;)
