Aziz

The day started at 6 AM, with the strident sound of his alarm clock, he set a loud volume in order to really wake up, otherwise it's back to sleep.
Aziz starts by shaving with his cheap gillette razors, he makes sure to save water since the ministry is rationing these days, every drop counts and Aziz knows it. After shaving, Aziz takes a quick shower and slips into his blue uniform.
Aziz is a worker at the Sunshine factory, a plant producing fake denim jeans in the suburbs of Beirut. He is paid 2000 liras per hour and works 10 hours per day, from 8 in the morning till 6 pm. Aziz has no real lunch break, it's more like a 15 minutes pause to have a sandwich and a cigarette, it's good that he's still allowed to spend 2 minutes in the toilet when nature calls.

| | After Reading this Blog, I remember Rafik Hariri during Election 2000 making the schedule of the Lebanese people before going to the election! Then, Saad Hariri came and change a little bit the schedule. He relied on Women to bring their husbands with them before the Arguile! Who's Next??? |
