The case is pretty ridiculous.

The killer was tried and charged in Jordan in 2000 (9 years ago!), and the Lebanese judges still kept the guy in prison to preserve the Lebanese Pen[i]al Procedure Code.

What's wrong with these people? Heck, the mother of all codes, the constitution, is an optional document in Lebanon and they were worried about preserving the Penal Procedure Code?!
