Let me get this straight.
A stand-up comedian, who happens to be a strong supporter of the Tsahal (whether he has been a member of that army or not, whether he has visited Israel or not, wont add or reduce anything concerning this case by the way), has planned a three days stage performance at Beit el Din festival, Lebanon.
And that Tsahal, happens to be an enemy for Lebanon, whereas just three years ago it waged a thirty-days war on this poor country, whereas it murdered more than 1100 civilians mostly children, and destroyed the infra-structure of the country, and was opposed and resisted by a relatively small group of brave native fighters, who lost 49 of their comrades in the process. And still, that army is violating Lebanon's sovereignty on a weekly basis, and places its military ships to monitor illegally its sea shores.
And then, some Lebanese come and argue that the comedian is of a good quality and a plus for the Beit el Din festivals, and suggest that the Lebanese think open-minded, and for once separate politics from cultural interaction (although I don't have a clue what's this supposed to mean, since it's whole the ******* cultural values are at stakes here and much more than those values too, and not some temporary political animosity). And they urge the Lebanese to go attend those shows intensively so that Lebanon's image wont be severely criticized and destroyed by the western media.
Well, well. Some argue also that democracy is the ideal way for the people of this world to rule themselves.
This very case here, is a very strong argument actually, to argue otherwise, that is a just dictatorship on the contrary is the way to go!
People with no self-esteem, no self-respect, no dignity, no honor, and eventually with little brains and low-limited knowledge, should be dealt with and ruled bil Jazma! |
