The thing is my dear Coralie,
the whole Gad el Maleh incident became a political issue.
It's not only the Beiteddine festival that's taken a hit, it's the whole image of Lebanon.
And if something like that were to happen again, it would really hurt the country.
And in any political program, there is a cultural side for it and a
PR side too.
The fact that Gad was scared off by some propaganda by a powerful organization is a sign to all other artists and this could hurt Lebanon even more.
The point being, the FPM should take a position refuting these accusations and refusing that such propaganda be made in the future because it's hurting the country.
Other parties are taking advantage of this fact and scoring points. And it's very legitimate, why shouldn't the FPM do it ??
