So, what's your argument? My point is that it wasn't in the hands of Lebanese authorities, it was his decision.

There was a buzz on the net about the whole issue, it was discussed in Hezbollah forums.
Al manar reported it a couple of times and we all know that the station is more than just a TV.

Why don't you separate the facts from the assumptions?
Fact: Manar reported it.
Assumption: HA is trying to incite people and scare him away because he is Jewish.

Ziad Makhoul is a piece of ****, but this time he was right on, so were Tarek Mitri and other people who stood against these attacks.

I have no issue with Makhoul personally, I'm singling out his article. The jump from this incident to intellectual terrorism is a big one, and is making a lot of assumptions.

He sent a press release denying the facts.

Then canceled the show.

Why would he cancel the show then?
It would hurt only him

He's scared. Your country averages a war every 2 years, an assassination every one and a half.

The law forbids me to let him into the country.
If he actually fought in one of the wars against Lebanon, I wouldn't let him, regardless of the law
But the issue is much more complicated than this.
Any Israeli citizen has to enroll in the army for 3 years. That is not a choice, it's an obligation.
Should we consider all Israelis as ennemies ?
I think not, I think a lot of people had to fight for Tsahal because they had to.
And the day we're gonna make peace with Israel, all those who fought for Tsahal will be allowed into the country, so I suppose I won't have to ban anyone in this case

Many people have refused military service in the past. But if this is the case, you simply voice the fact that it wasn't something you wanted to do and all you did were mundane tasks blablabla.
Otherwise, yes, I would have an issue with anyone who was willingly part of Tsahal. If he were not on the front, he was covering for someone on the front. It's only a matter of self-respect.
