First, Elmaleh decided not to come without any intervention of the Lebanese authorities.
Second, how did you jump to the intellectual terrorism? If Ziyad Makhoul takes all the issues he accumulated against HA over 20 years all at once in one article, it doesn't mean he's right. I might be misinformed but besides the article that was published (and I guess reported) on Manar, was there any action to ban him?
I don't think Elmaleh's agent was concerned about proving the allegations wrong. For him, it was just easier to cancel the show.
Hypothetical question for you though, if you were in a position of authority, would you allow his show to take place assuming he was actually part of Tsahal at one point?
