thinkpads are the most reliable for business applications and you can have them with any specs
HP's are nice from the outside, and usually carry the latest tech for affordable prices but they overheat and their batteries suck, stay away if you are looking for mobility and extended life.
dells are more or less similar to the thinkpad, also workhorses, with nice designs, you might find a studio 15 is a very capable laptop
