You need to define what the laptop will be used for.... I bought a Toshiba Protege in 2002 and it still runs flawlessly!!! I got another Sony Vaio in 2006 and I changed the battery twice on it already... it heats up (it's a Duo not Duo2)...Lenovos are good but depends on the model, I've read reviews recently that their screens suck.... I just bought another laptop last week and I got a Toshiba again. For the price, I think I got a very good deal |
