My friend installed the new Iphone version on his Iphone 3G. The main improvement of the software are the following :
- FAster (when you launch an application)
- Video recording
- Better camera (photo processing)
For the hardware, it will be not very different. However the new iphone 3GS have a compass. I think it will be great specially if you have 3G internet access and you use the GPS. Using the compass you are able to have more accurate directions (better street view visualization)
I think the compass is the only thing that could change in the iphone 3GS. Otherwise, you can have all new functionalities on the iphone 3 G without any problem.
PS: they said that the bluetooth is more "open" but we couldn't connect another phone to the iphone. You must see if the bluetooth hardware of the 3GS is different. |
