Message I got from facebook group: General Issam Abou Jamra friends and supporters

----------------

Disarming Hezbollah was supposedly one of Nayla Tueini and Sami Gemayel’s priorities. Thus, all through their electoral campaign, they pretended that one should vote for the Hariri bloc to which they belonged, so as to rid Lebanon from Hezbollah’s weapons. However, one day after the elections, it was no longer a must to snatch Christian votes from General Aoun. Therefore, Saad Hariri contradicted them publically:

“I am ready, he said, to grant the Resistance and Sayyed Hassan all the guarantees they want regarding their weapons. Let them write whatever they want in the ministerial statement. As a matter of fact, we want to carry on the State-building project that does not conflict with the Resistance, as it was the case at the time of Rafic Harir.” Assafir.

Let me recall that the agreement between Rafic Hariri and Sheikh Hassan Nassrallah imposed no restrictions on Hezbollah’s arms. Unlike the agreement between Aoun and Hezbollah, that Nayla Tueini and Sami Gemayel so fiercely attacked for what it did not actually contain.

During her last interview on NBN, Nayla was much virulent against things that, according to her, were included in the Aoun Hezbollah understanding. Said Gorayyeb was so kind to interrupt her to say: “Did you read it? You did not read it”, without making her look like a fool by telling everybody that it was wrong.

Nayla has never admitted the truth before the people. A journalist is supposed to read documents before attacking them. And if she is wrong, she should say it publically to rehabilitate her victim.

This is the whole difference between information and misinformation.
