Record Ronaldo bid accepted

Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

Matters are expected to be conclud
ed by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice.

Platini should do something about those huge money transfers they're becoming really ridiculous.

...and Florentino Perez in just about 1 week, managed to get both : Kaka' and Ronaldo. Imagine their striking force next season. That being said, they need to concentrate on strengthening their defense, and possibly get 1 new winger, if they plan to play a 4-2-31 formation. They wanted Ribery, but it doesn't seem that Bayern will sell him, they might get Villa by the way according to the Rumors. I guess we'll have to wait and see what they are up to, the transfer window hasn't even opened yet they managed to get 2 star players.

A little something about the Dzeko-Milan rumors. Galliani previously said that they have contacted them(Dzeko and his Agent), Dzeko has expressed his desire to come since Milan are his favorite club, but Wolfsburg don't want to let him go. Galliani replied the following.

Adriano Galliani: Milan May Drop Interest In Wolfsburg Star Edin Dzeko
The Rossoneri CEO has admitted they are ready to turn to other objectives.

Milan’s initial bid for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has been turned down and general manager Adriano Galliani has now fired a warning shot to the Bundesliga champions.

“If they don’t change their stance, we will turn to other objectives,” the transfer guru told Sky Italia.

Yesterday, Wolfsburg vice president Stephan Gruehsem insisted that the Serbian international is not for sale and they will not release him “even if the Galactica Football Club shows up”.

But it is suggested that the Volkswagen-owned side are simply playing hardball to get a bigger transfer fee.

Milan have reportedly tabled an offer of €22 million and are prepared to add the services of either Dida or Kakhaber Kaladze to the deal. However, Wolfsburg are holding out for €30m in cash.

Should a deal for Dzeko fail to materialise, Sport Mediaset suggests Milan will turn to Bayern Munich and Italy striker Luca Toni and could swoop for Cameroonian hitman Samuel Eto’o next season, when his contract with Barcelona is due to expire.
