Well this thread as its title implies is about the Iranian elections and what we think about it (Of course each has his own opinion:) Any Updates and analysis is welcome.

I Just want to start talking about Mr.Ahmadi Nijad's electoral campaign. After they threatened Khatami and his bunch and forced them to withdraw, It seems Nijad has a huge chance of winning.

The Man has an Amazing strategy, in Iran he literally owns all media and newspapers, and from my observation since I've been following his news for a long time it seems that since he came to power he has made it his sole purpose to appear on TV, and not to mention the Last time he appeared in Geneve and made a huge Anti-American speech which was sure to win him a lot of voters. this is Not to say that I didn't agree with that speech, But you can clearly tell from what he said that its main purpose was the Iranian elections.

Recently The Haaretz spoke about an Israeli Attack on Iran after Natanyahu's visit to the US, And Haaretz is known to write articles which oppose the Extremist Governments of Israel and is backed by many Anti-Israeli/USA Politicians around the world. What I think about this is that This Article is 100% in favor of Ahmadi Nijad's Electoral campaign and the Un-Educated Iranian will simply select him after hearing about this piece of news. Now we are not saying that Israel does not plan on attacking Iran nor are we saying that the Information is False. When you think about it, the USA is gonna be directly involved in such a war and many other countries will be since some have thier troops In Iraq. But Can the USA really start another war at the moment? can the Anti-War president Start another war directly? Won't this finish america off both from the inside and outside. This news Boosts Nijad's Chances in winning the elections in my opinion.

Every couple of days we hear that the Iranian Gov Foils a Plan by the Mossad or the CIA to bomb some area or assasinate some Ayatullah in Iran, This has been going on for years and if you really add them all up together the Iranian Gov must have really arrested about a couple of thousand Mossad and CIA agents... Again you feel that something isn't right. Could they be lying? specially since they present absolutly no detail about anything in the articles, They usually just say 'We stopped a huge evil plan by Mossad'...
Today we hear that there is an Explosion in the Shiite Mosque In Zahadan which kills many religious Shiites and the Iranan newspapers say that this was a Bomb Planted by the Mossad (a few days before elections ).

It Could be planted by the Mossad, It Could be Planted by the CIA, It Could be Planted by Ahmai Nijad.
