Fate ? here we go back to the fact that humans are weak and their actions and decisions are predetermined and the outcome is already calculated. I have trouble with fate, don't like it's concept.

Every Human Beeing is responsible for his/her actions. This concept EMPOWERS Humanity; we start to believe in our own power, our own decision making capabilities, instead of shall we say .... praying (which is identical to meditating, scientifically speaking) and hoping.

To Layouss: Not Zeitgeist, Zeitgeist was just a tool, something that contained most of the arguments I use and gave them better phrasing and structure. People like George Carlin, and Bill Hicks on the other hand, even though comedians, but were the only ones to tackle taboos in every culture. These are the people I admire. Their work was extensively used in Zeitgeist.

Taboos, another miracle from religion.Instead of not doing something because we're not supposed to or because it's "3ayb" (the word that would cause me to murder a parent if i heard him say "3ayb" to his kids), why don't we don't do things because we simply are conviced that they are bad?

I, for one, left my theistic belief system on the sidelines, i consider the existance of god to have little or no direct influence on the "proceedings" of our life. I get sort of alienated whenever someone mentions a miracle, how someone was miraculously healed, because or god, and can't justify the wipe out of 5000 people from a tsunami. And when i mentionned that a Doctor, cured cancer that was eating up a ZYGOTE, they say that the doctor shouldn't have been doing god's work. Punchin this person in the face would've been a great gift for humanity.
