Gender equality is a highly debated issue, and often interpreted in various ways.
What does it mean to you? How do you see the role of women and men in society? Do you support granting the women equal rights, on the fields of education, employment, marital issues, political life?
On the personal level, as a man how do you treat women/ your wife? Do you give her equal voice, do you support her aspirations?
As a woman how are you treated by men, do you feel yourself oppressed, or did you face any discrimantion? |
Nowadays women can vote, contribute in every aspect including culture and economy. In many western countries women have gained greater equality ,freedom and choice, and even awarded equal pay for work of equal value>Most of the jobs can be done by both gender and can achieve same results .Girls even have higher education than boys these days .
I believe in some countries women are still treated badly and deprived from their rights which i find it really wrong and hope one day they fight for their rights and earn it...Of course i support granting women total equality in everything..As a woman i am treated really well by men..Women should have also the right to have custody after divorce in some countries she has no right to keep her kids this isn't fair for the mum nor the kids..
