I will keep this very simple and short.
1- When active users are picked to become moderators, it will affect their contribution to the forum.
2- Moderators’ interaction should be kept at a bare minimum; users should not feel their presence.
3- Keep the forum liberal, everything goes, except cussing, flaming and bad words; and these are the only conditions where moderators should interfere.
4- Discard all the rules.
5- Threads should be started right away, what’s the difference between a new thread and a regular post? Why don’t new posts get delayed before acquiring approval?
6- Good posters should feel that their contribution is appreciated and they should be encouraged. |
