Dalzi, I understand your position. I have the same point of view, but I think that you should be more pragmatic. That woman, if she goes to the police (the same police that didn't convict the brother for killing his baby sister), it could backfire not only against her, but against her daughter too!
What would an angry child-molesting father do to both the mother and the child when he hears his mother publicly accused him of molesting his daughter? This in a society where apparently, child molestations are very common, and where police is not concerned about such things, where the rule of law does not exist...
When the daughter is found pregnant, her life is over... Many Lebanese and Arabs criticize the West for some of the decadent behavior that exist there. At least here, the police WILL protect you, young-mothers won't be shot by their brothers without impunity, and will actually get help from society!
