now, lord jesus do forgive this rogue trekkie (me) for blaspheming, but really only the Klingon Bird Of Prey wasn't a gay ship in Star Trek.

Well gui may look really bad, but for a purpose. You see, in this game you can control every single module on the ship, you can control engine power, shield strength, auxiliary system output, switch power from a weapon system to another according to the circumstances(if u want to fire a long range missile, and fast, u need to switch power to it) and each ship has its own architecture, with different shields, engines, power modules, special modules and weapons. Its quite sophisticated, so a cooky cutter GUI wont cut it.
