2. yes, those three stations are in the Litani river. There are others (smaller) on Nahr el Bared, Assi and other rivers. But I think that all together, they cannot produce more than the three from Litani river.
About percentage of hydroelectricity in Lebanon, it's between 5 and 10% of our consumption (depends on lots of factors from year to year). |
i read that we have 2 possible sites that were studied in lebanon that would be ready for geothermal
1. in sammakiye in akkar
2. off the coast of tyre

does anyone have info if there's any wind turbines or wind farms in lebanon, i never saw any in all the 16 years i lived there, but does anyone know iza fi maybe in windy places more than 8Km/h speed like il arz and maybe bil jabal that could be ready for wind farms
