I sense my family is suffering an excitement fatigue. I noticed everyone is less enthusiastic about those they supported before. It never seems to get you anywhere in real life.

Come voting day none of us will vote anywhere and even if we did our votes dont count. We know as little about those we are supposed to vote for as those we wanted to vote against.

A proportional system may have been the better way for our votes to have any weight, but for our family this would have made more room for endless and futile arguments.
