My family (very large, votes in Haret Hreick) voted for FPM in 2005 at 98%, myself too.

70% because really FPMist, 28% because FPM was the only possibility against HA.

I think the 98% FPM voting will transform into something between 55% and 75% depending on behaviour of both side before the elections.

I think 25% of the family will simply not vote for pro "Hezballah" list (I am one of them), I think 40%-60% of the family will never vote for anybody else that GMA (we are from Haret Hreick after all, it used to be a small village before the war, everybody knows everybody).

I can only see a couple of people really still FPM activist in the family (although 100% are still with the principles of what used to be associated with FPM, a lot of activism towards the prisonners in Syria, towards education and reading, environment, press liberty, disabled, rebuilding some emblamatic monuments in Haret Hreick ...) .

But I can tell you there is in the family a LOT of disapointment :
-in which concerns mainly the unconditionnal alliance with HA, SSNP, Marada (nobody has expressed a pb with alliance with amal for instance, and with a dialog on an arms length basis),
-also a lot disappointment concerning the pro Syrian/Iranian shift versus pro-western,
-also a lot of disapointment on the achievements (most of the family is now in the baabda region and kesserwan) on the local dimension, to sumerize a recent conversation, "what are they doing apart from insulting others?",
-and also the weakness of FPM in its institutionnal dimension (no internal debate, no real structure, all intuitae personae, a lot of nepotism, no real project) of course here it's a disapointement on an absolute basis not on a relative basis, because they were/are so GMAist/FPMist, their ambition was/is so great...
