Come on guys loosen up, they heard sources telling them the stories and they posted it, that's it, that's all !!!!

I'm gonna ask again, why didn't you ask for the same thing when other media outlets did the same ??
Listen, it is one thing to actually make a mistake in writing it, and correct that mistake in the next edition with apologies (which they didn't. They pretended to have written what the army and ministry of defense have stated, which is not true, so they lied... again).

It is another thing to make a "mistake", exaggerate the mistake without having made thorough research about the facts, and above all that, to incite hatred by attacking a group and accusing it of being cold-blooded murderers!

What happened next is that they have started a war against Aoun instead! You have all kinds of sleazy politicians visiting l'Orient and paying their respects and giving their support... That's neutrality for you!

PS: make a lawsuit against a newspaper is nothing new. In Belgium and Germany (probably France too, but I don't have the facts... hehe, I'm not l'Orient to start inventing info out of the blue), there have been numerous cases where the press has been taken as liable for the articles it writes, and have been subject to fines when it incited hatred by misleading the readers with fallacious facts!
